ABOUT
ME

I’ve spent my career working in nearly every mental health                                                                                        setting imaginable - hospitals, residential facilities, community                                                                                  mental health agencies, child and family services, and private                                                                                  practice. My work has always been about understanding human                                                                            nature at its deepest level and guiding people toward                                                                                                transformation.

My journey into the mental health field began in 1987 during my                                                                                junior year of undergrad, working at a halfway house for adults                                                                                struggling with severe mental health and substance abuse                                                                                      challenges. That experience was transformative. Initially drawn to                                                                            neuroscience and studying the brain, I quickly realized that my                                                                                true passion lay not just in understanding neural pathways but in                                                                            helping people heal at the level of the heart and soul. That                                                                                        realization set me on the path to becoming a therapist, and I’ve                                                                              never looked back.

Since then, my life has been a constant evolution. I got married in 1993, earned my Master’s in 1994, and became a parent in 1995. In just five years, my wife and I welcomed four children while navigating financial struggles, career growth, and the joys and challenges of family life. Through it all, I’ve remained deeply committed to the work of transformation - both for myself and for those I have the privilege of guiding.

Now, with over 35 years in the mental health field, 31 years of marriage, and just over three decades as a parent, I bring a depth of experience that extends far beyond textbooks and training. After teaching Gestalt Therapy as an adjunct professor and working in various leadership roles, I eventually chose to focus exclusively on private practice.

My work integrates:

  • Gestalt Therapy - Bringing awareness to unconscious patterns and creating real-time change.

  • Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) - Shifting negative thought patterns to create new possibilities.

  • Transactional Analysis - Understanding inner dynamics and reshaping outdated relational scripts.

  • Mind-Body Stress Reduction - Regulating nervous system responses for greater peace and resilience.

  • Systemic Family Constellations – Healing generational patterns and unresolved ancestral influences.

I specialize in helping individuals and couples navigate:

  • Anxiety & Stress

  • Relationship & Communication Issues

  • Infidelity & Trust Repair

  • Spiritual Growth & Purpose

  • Life Transitions & High-Performance Coaching

The clients I work with are looking for more than just coping skills - they want deep transformation, clarity, and freedom. Together, we’ll build a system that aligns with your work style and life goals.

Everything is virtual, giving you the flexibility to integrate this work seamlessly into your life.

If you’re ready for real change, let’s create a new path forward - one that leads to lasting emotional and spiritual freedom.
